On Verses that guard my life

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart, I appointed you as a prophet to the nations” – Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm, plans to give you a hope and a future” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs in the kingdom in heaven
Blessed are those who mourned,
for they will be comforted
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth
Blessed are those who hunger for righteousness,
for they will be filled
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called the sons of God
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteous,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven “ – Matthew 5:3-10 (NIV)

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again. Rejoice!” Philippians 4: 4 (NIV)

On personal beliefs

1. God created voids in our hearts. To the cynical people, it’s because man are born selfish. But to me, it’s because, God created this voids so that he can fill. It’s like God’s home. In facts it is in this voids that He resides. And in fact when I write, I expose these voids. We cannot change them. But rather when we let God in and fill these voids, that’s when we are complete.

2. We are imperfect people, so we should stop trying to be perfect (ie get everything done right), but instead be glad and look back at what we have and rejoice in it.

3. Joy is a choice.

4. The best way to learn is to experience it. The best way to grow is through pain. à No pain no gain.

5. Simplicity is the best policy. I can think and think and think but in the end, the answers are usually the simplest ones.

6. It’s okay to be a child. Just do it to the right person à God. Whine at God, complain to God, scream at God. Not at human beings.

7.The deepest people are the simplest ones. They go through the whole cycle only to know that the simple life is what that is required and it is what God has provided. But if you don’t go through this cycle of seeking, searching, desiring, your simplicity is either a) foolishness or b) Gift from God.

On relationships

It’s not about taking. It’s about giving. It’s about communication. It’s about putting your heart to one person. It’s about giving praises and compliments. It’s about being there when they need you. It’s about giving a listening ear when they need it.

In short,

Love.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
“ - 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

On family
It’s about coming back to a place and resting. There is no need to put up fronts in family. Like it say it, hate it say it. There is no hatred of any sort. There is no need to face up to anyone’s expectations. It’s a place that you get comfort and shelter and it’s the place that your best comes out naturally. There will be no tiredness in serving or speaking to your family. You don’t need to act nice. The niceness just flows out of you.
It’s a place of absolute trust.

And I know why my family fails.
